What is going on guys! Welcome Welcome Welcome to my new DJ Mix show Elevation Sessions. My name is Anthony Hernandez, and some of you may have listened to my previous show ZONA, which will remain available to you on my Mixcloud. There you will find a download link if you wish to download any of my previous ZONA mixes.

Last September, I wanted to change things up a bit, and I recorded a mix and asked for your help in naming the new show. Thank you to everyone that provided me some feedback, it really helped me come up with the new name of elevation sessions. Elevation sessions just makes sense now that I’m living at elevation in Denver Colorado. You can now find my shows on ALL yes ALL platforms including Spotify and Apple Podcasts moving forward.

I’ve also decided to use my own photos as the show cover art, and I’ll be using all sorts of different photos, but mostly ones from my travels and adventures. However don’t be surprised to see some shots of…well just about anything. For the first show and the permanent cover art, you’ll see Red Rocks from a hike that I did with my wife Kelly. It was awesome to see this amazing and spiritual venue from this angle. This is really our favorite venue for live music in Colorado, and I highly recommend you plan a trip to see a show you like there assign as possible.

On today’s show, I wanted to post the mix that inspired the name change as the first mix of the new show. I begin with some deeper breaks and progress into some more energetic sounds as the mix grows over the two hour journey. This mix includes tracks from Monkey Safari, Dino Lenny in collaboration with ARTBAT, and a killer Duran Duran Remix of Save a Prayer by Artche. I hope you enjoy this mix.
