My guest this week is Eli Harris, is the co-founder of R-Zero. R-Zero is disrupting an archaic industry (disinfection), and in doing so - creating a category around health security + biosafety technology. Eli and his co-founders recognized that the COVID pandemic was going to present a massive shift in health security, much like 9/11 did for physical security.

The opportunity for Eli and the R-Zero team is enormous and we discuss this societal shift in great detail within this episode, but let me be clear…Eli’s story is not one of success without failure. R-Zero is Eli’s second startup and his first is now valued over $1 billion dollars. You read that correctly, his first startup reached the elusive “Unicorn” status. Unfortunately though, he does not get to share in that success because a little over two years ago he was pushed out and let go from the very company he built.
