• Wall Street expects United Parcel Service, Inc. (NYSE:UPS) to post quarterly earnings at $2.50 per share on revenue of $23.11 billion before the opening bell. UPS shares rose 0.6% to $183.30 in after-hours trading.
• Paramount Global (NASDAQ:PARA) reported better-than-expected results for its second quarter. KKR also announced plans to acquire Simon & Schuster from Paramount Global for $1.62 billion. Paramount Global shares gained 4.5% to $16.81 in the after-hours trading session.
• Beyond Meat Inc (NASDAQ:BYND) reported downbeat results for its second quarter and issued weak revenue forecast for FY23. Beyond Meat shares declined 11.9% to $13.46 in the after-hours trading session.
• Analysts expect Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY) to report quarterly earnings at $1.99 per share on revenue of $7.58 billion before the opening bell. Eli Lilly shares fell 0.1% to $453.90 in after-hours trading.
• UBS analyst Atul Maheswari upgraded Wayfair Inc (NYSE:W) to Buy from Neutral with an increased price target of $110 from $72.
