1st Kings 18:17-40

Elijah stood on Mount Carmel to confront the false prophets of Baal and to call God’s people back to true worship. In a dramatic display of divine power, God answered Elijah’s prayer with fire from heaven, proving He alone is God. The fire revealed God’s power; the rain that followed revealed His mercy. Through Elijah’s obedience, faith, and courage, the people turned back to the Lord. This passage reminds us that God still works through those who walk in His will, pray in faith, and live fully surrendered to Him.
