In this new sermon series based on the life of the prophet Elijah, we will see and learn a model for Christian living. Elijah’s life is filled with incredible stories of faith and passion, yet he was just a regular person—a human being just like us. God’s Word encourages us that if we practice humble obedience the way Elijah did, God can use us in incredible ways, too. 

The big idea in this first sermon is that God uses ordinary people to accomplish His extraordinary purposes. Do you need to make an important decision? Go to the Lord and ask for wisdom. Have you received a Word from the Lord? Go to His Word. Are you in a season of being cut off and cut down? Don't surrender your season. Lean in. Has your brook dried up? Suspend reason and obey God, even if it doesn't make sense.
