I am excited to bring you this interview with New Renaissance Artist Elizabeth A. Baker. Elizabeth’s work “embraces a constant stream of change and rebirth in practice, which expands into a variety of media, chiefly an exploration of how sonic and spatial worlds can be manipulated to personify a variety of philosophies and principles both tangible as well as intangible. In our conversation we cover some early experiences she had with music. I was delighted to hear how the Florida punk and math-rock scene shaped her outlook. We talk about her career and, in the course of this hour long interview, only scratch the surface of where her work as a New Renaissance Artist has taken her. We finish the conversation talking about her experience working with the Price Hill Creative Community Festival.
