Geoff plays tracks from First Lady of Song, a boxed set CD collection released by Verve Records featuring rarely heard Ella Fitzgerald recordings (circa 1956-1966), none of which had ever been released before on an LP. All of these tracks were personally chosen by Geoff for that collection: Too Young For The Blues, Lullaby Of Birdland (Live At Bushnell Memorial Hall/1954), Baby Don't You Go Away Mad, Angel Eyes, Undecided (Live From The Hollywood Bowl/1956), Detour Ahead, Swingin' Shepherd Blues (Alternate Take), Heart & Soul, Perdido (Live At Carnegie Hall, New York / 1949).
