Ellie Fox is living the life many of us envy. She grew up in an MUT family and now lives in a tricked-out van with her husband and their pets, traveling from trailhead to trail race whenever they want. 

Ellie recently won Cloudsplitter 100k and we talk about what she learned on the course and other lessons from the past few years. She grew up watching her dad run (and finish Hardrock), and how his influence got her to where she is today.  Why did she follow in his footsteps while other kids rebel against their parents’ activities?

Ellie has an infectious attitude and laugh and sounds like someone who’d help click off an eight hour run with fun and dynamic conversations about baby goats and ice cream and why she has so much gratitude.
