Elon Musk being closely monitored by SETI after Twitter poll

Listen Later

Elon Musk has been in the news a lot more than usual lately. He has not only experienced professional highs like becoming the first man in history to be worth over $300 billion but also personal highs like the birth of his son X Æ A-12 last year. This period was not only about these extreme highs, but he also had to go through a divorce and was also being criticised for picking a Twitter spat with the head of the United Nations World Food Program (UNWFP).

His sometimes erratic and sometimes bizarre antics have always been of interest to the business community as he can be quite influential in determining the course of the human race in the next decade. Unlike other billionaires like Jeff Bezos, who maintains a relatively low profile and Bill Gates, who has effectively retired from Microsoft, Elon Musk is very much at the forefront of the latest technology. His extremely strong opinions on various matters have influenced public opinion and he has succeeded in becoming a role model for many people.

His first venture was the company Zip2 which was acquired by Compaq in 1999. This was followed by the company that made Elon Musk a household name – X.com and PayPal. After tasting huge success with the sale of PayPal, Elon continued to enter various new domains and start new companies like SpaceX, Tesla, Solar City, Tesla Energy, Neuralink and The Boring Company. He is also associated with companies like Hyperloop and OpenAI.

Elon Musk is an active Twitter user and his sometimes cryptic tweets have left people both puzzled and inspired. Not being known as someone who would hold back from expressing his opinion, his tweets have been known to create massive ripples in the business world.

His tweets supporting the cryptocurrency Dogecoin and Shiba Inu has seen the value of the currencies rise exponentially in a very short period. His tweets and statements against AI and Mark Zukerberg had created panic amongst investors. Most recently he got into a Twitter spat with World Food Program director David Beasley where he offered to sell $6 billion worth of Tesla stock if Beasley could explain how that would end world hunger. This was met with some serious backlash as well.

The one recent incident that has caused SETI or the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence Institute to sit up and put Elon Musk under their scanner was his recent Twitter poll asking if he should sell his stock in his companies. The real reason was claimed to be the proposal by the US government to tax the wealthy using the concept of unrealised gains, where he could stand to lose a substantial amount of money if he continues to remain invested in the company. Elon Musk has repeatedly claimed that he does not receive a salary so cannot be taxed but will be taxed on capital gains when he sells his stock.

SETI does not believe that this is the case and they suspect something more sinister.

SETI has been at the forefront of research into extraterrestrial life in the universe and hopes to establish communication with an alien race at some point. They have already had many promising leads but nothing has materialised in the many decades that can explicitly prove the existence of alien life forms. Our source at SETI had some very disturbing hypotheses.

“Elon Musk knows something. He is making plans to leave our planet as it might be doomed.” While sensationalism has never been our forte, we did listen to our highly placed source at SETI out.

“There has always been speculation that Elon Musk was not human and is what we would call an alien in layman’s terms. He has once remarked that people believe that he is one without contradicting or denying the statement. If you take a look at all that he has achieved in the past 10 years, it is nothing short of being superhuman.”

“This is where things get interesting. His recent activities where he has now successfully...
