A little over a week after posting a Twitter poll asking if the platform supports free speech, Elon Musk is putting his money where his mouth is. The man behind Tesla purchased a 9% stake in the company, making him the largest individual shareholder. Only time will tell what Musk plans to do with his newly obtained influence but based on previous statements, it appears as though he’ll try to influence its censorship policies. Some are speculating this is just the first play in Musk’s bid to acquire an even larger stake in the company. Will his involvement in Twitter be a net positive for society?
