Elon Musk is Wrong About Model S & Model X | Tesla's High-End Cars Are Still Really Important
Tesla's two most expensive cars are only being made for "sentimental reasons," Elon Musk said on Tesla’s third-quarter earnings call. "The Model S and X are really niche.” I disagree and maybe you do too. If you own an S or an X leave your thoughts below. Although Elon is right that the Model S and X are part of history and served as a stepping stone to where they are today, I think he is missing the point by making that connection. Those cars allowed Tesla to be a coveted luxury, premium brand.
