The Carolina Weather Group discusses Tropical Storm Elsa and the storm's forecasted impacts on the Carolinas.  

The system made landfall in Florida Wednesday morning before impacting the Southeast, including Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Tropical storm-force winds are expected in parts of the Carolinas overnight through Thursday. Other threats include heavy rain, flooding, and isolated tornadoes.
