EMBO Global Activities increases awareness among scientists outside Europe about the excellent opportunities for doing research and collaborating with researchers in Europe. In the long term, EMBO envisions Europe as a prime destination for scientists throughout the world.

In the context of EMBO Global Activities, EMBO and EMBC engage in cooperation agreements with partner countries, which are based on mutual interest for stronger interactions and facilitating new opportunities for exchange.
