In the book of Ecclesiastes, God tells us, “For everything there is a season.” That includes sowing and reaping, or giving and receiving. Whichever of those seasons and activities you feel better suits you, everybody experiences both of them. And if we are going to master these seasons of life, then Givers need to learn to receive well, and Receivers need to learn to give generously.
