I've come to understand what quotes such as 'new beginnings are often disguised as painful endings mean' and scriptures such as Isaiah 43. The end of something is not always easy, even if you wanted the ending.. Or not, regardless of whether the end is good or bad. The process of transitioning, letting go and starting something new isn't facile. What eases the process however is a number of things including making sure you confront what has ended fully, understanding that the end of one thing isn't the end of everything, be willing to let go and take a chance and be in the new moment for it's unique experience.
