Isaiah,a name that means "the Lord saves," was the son of Amoz. He began his ministry around 740 BC, a tumultuous time when Assyria was expanding its borders and Israel faced decline. Nonetheless Isaiah heeded warnings of demise. We will explore the Book of Isaiah and interpret the lessons God has intended.
