This Latina/Native American icon from El Paso, Texas enlisted in the Army at only 16-years old.  She was discharged after an injured in a military vehicle accident in the Mojave Desert. Just when her life trajectory fell off course, she met her acting coach who asked her to audition for the film “The Tax Collector,” (Shia LaBeouf) where she landed a leading role as the villain, performing her own stunts.
