It is international film festival season in New Zealand, so I went to the cinema, watched something, and recorded my messy thoughts and unfinished reflections after. Challenging films usually make me think of their role in reshaping beliefs, transcending entertainment, and immersing us in a whole different time and space, contributing to our personal baggage and worldview.
