We all make mistakes, and it can be hard to forgive ourselves. But God promises us that He will forgive us if we come to Him with a repentant heart. His plan for forgiveness is laid out in the Bible, and it is a beautiful gift that we can embrace if we are willing to do so. In 1 John 1:9, God says that if we confess our sins, He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. By understanding and accepting this promise, we can learn to forgive ourselves and find healing in God’s love.
