Hello you!
Today is just a quick little real talk episode about how staying flexible to new knowledge, information, and opinions can actually allow you to better evolve as a human and critical thinker.
It's a reminder to stay away from the trap of just doing and thinking what's "comfortable" and stretching yourself into the realm of discomfort and the feeling of "oh god I don't know anything about anything" when you suddenly open your eyes to different realities and points of view.
Humans have survived this far because of our amazing ability to adapt to our environments. It's time we do the same with our MINDS!
I'd love to hear what this episode meant to you/how it applies to your life currently! Let's keep the conversation going!

I'm so excited about this amazing conversation I had with my friend Jacy Lawler.
We are both very much type-A or "achiever" personality types, and have encountered similar struggles along our journeys.
Since achievers often put all their worth into external accomplishments, we often refrain from sharing or discussing our struggles, especially when it comes to mental health.
This conversation is meant to shed light and reduce the stigma that plagues many people who are constantly looking for external validation and praise in order to feel good about themselves.
Jacy does an amazing job at being open and vulnerable about her story and shares so much of the knowledge that she's gained along the way.
If you want to connect with Jacy, you can hit her up in Instagram @jacylawler. Keep an eye out for her very own podcast launching soon!
As always, you can reach out to me as well @manda.pali or [email protected].

Hello and welcome back!
I know I've been quiet the past couple of weeks & that's because I've been slowly formulating the thoughts that I am sharing with you in today's episode.
I've decided to stop playing the "supporting actor" in my own life.
I've accepted that my role on this earth is not to please & appease those around me.
I am ready to take ownership of my life & stop people-pleasing like my life depends on it.
Because the only person I need to please is MYSELF.
When I am aligned and joyful, I can make the biggest impact on those around me.
When I am depleted and pouring from an empty cup, NO ONE benefits in the long run.
We need to stop feeling selfish for taking the LEADING ROLE in our own lives.
Who's with me?!

Hello lovelies,
Today's episode is some REAL-TALK about current issues.
I'm talking...the thing that everyone seems to be fighting about these days. You know what I mean. The jab jab. The staby-McGee. The special syringe.
The COVID-19 immunization.
This is not at all a conversation aimed at trying to convince anyone to change their belief systems or to shove anything down your throat. It's a conversation aimed at reducing fear and panic about the information that’s circulating, and an opportunity to lean into love and acceptance by taking a moment to understand why those who believe differently than you are not monsters or idiots. We’re all just trying to figure out how to handle the immense fear that the last year and half has brought onto us - and sometimes people cope with fear in very different, or completely opposite ways.
It's also a chat about what SCIENCE actually means, since I feel like the term has been twisted by people who don't understand it AT ALL. Knowledge is so powerful, so I want to help you understand what science IS, and what it ISN'T.
(Here is the link to the video mentioned in the episode regarding scientific research conclusions:)

All I hope to do here is offer different perspectives to those on EITHER side of this hot topic, so it can be less of an "argument" and more of a CONVERSATION.
Take what you want. Leave what you want.
I'm not taking a particular "stance" because I don't believe in black/white or right/wrong. Life is one big GREY AREA. We need to train our brains to be okay with this.
I'm just here trying to remind people that we're all the same at our core. We're all scared and acting out in whichever way makes the most sense to us. But remember to take a step back and evaluate your thoughts and beliefs once your emotions have cooled down and you can look at the facts a bit more objectively.
Sending love in this CRAZY time,
XO Amanda

Heyyy! Welcome to another Hump Day Pep Talk where I give you just a quick little episode aimed at inspiring you on a specific topic.
Today I discuss the issue with the many "one size fits all" programs, services, advice or teachings out there.
I touch on how to recognize some red flags when joining a course/program, when working with a coach or teacher, or when adopting any kind of methodology. The biggest take away is that we, as the consumer, need to stop accepting the answer that something is wrong with US if something doesn't work - instead we need to start holding society accountable to being more accepting of INDIVIDUALITY and reject generalized answers to problems.
I challenge you to join the peaceful protest of being your authentic self, and demonstrate to others that they can allow you to be yourself WITHOUT having their own truths or beliefs attacked or taken away. We can be part of the solution if we demonstrate that there is no need for fear, that there is room for everyone at the party.
I hope you can resonate with some of the topics in today's episode, and as always - I love hearing from you if you want to continue the conversation on Instagram @manda.pali or you can email [email protected].

I am SO excited about this interview with one of my amazing friends, Madison Hudgins, who is honestly such an admirable woman. She is a passionate and resilient force who has so much wisdom and knowledge at her young age, but she's also faced many obstacles in her early adulthood that have lead her to where she is today.
In this episode we talk all about slowing down in order to move forward more effectively, how to handle being a beginner, becoming a business owner as a young woman, and so much more!
Here are the ways to connect with Maddy or her incredible business, Breast Rehab:

Welcome back to Embracing The Climb after a two month hiatus!
This episode I share about what's been going on the past few months and why I needed to step back from podcasting while I dealt with some suppressed issues that came surfacing hard & fast during a period of high stress that overwhelmed my nervous system.
But of course - everything in life can be a lesson if we're paying attention! So this wake-up call helped to get me back into counselling to address issues that I've been burying for 5+ years and to finally see how my whole life has truly been built with a SURVIVAL mindset rather than a LIVING/THRIVING mindset.
So today's episode is all about truly looking within yourself to see if you're holding onto to survival rituals to keep your brain feeling SAFE, rather than actually facing your truth and escaping your comfort zone to act on the things that will bring you true JOY and allow you to actually LIVE your identity & purpose.
I hope you resonate with some of the really vulnerable parts of this episode (Because DUDE - this was HARD to record!) and as always, feel free to reach out if you wanna chat about your thoughts/experiences on Instagram @manda.pali or you can email me at [email protected]!
This special PRIDE MONTH episode is a conversation with one of my dear friends, Shane Ramsay, who is a gay man here in Ottawa, Canada.
***Content warning:
- LGBTQ+ topics
- sexually explicit topics
- mental illness
- bullying/harassment/discrimination
- eating disorders/self-esteem issues/body dysmorphia
Shane graciously opened up about SO many hard topics and shared some really personal/traumatic stories in the hopes of helping others who may have struggled in similar ways.
This episode is about sharing some information about what Pride Month means, and the struggles WITHIN the gay community which might not be so apparent to those who aren't involved. One big issue that we discuss is that of BODY SHAMING, especially bigger bodies that don't fit a particular gay "look".
This show's goal is to be as inclusive as possible about ALL different kinds of people and their individual journeys and struggles, and Shane is an amazing start to opening up to a broader variety of interview guests.
You can connect with Shane on Instagram @shaneramsay - trust me, he's SO welcoming and easy to talk to!
