What does alignment really mean?
We often think of alignment as something physical — the way we position our bodies on a yoga mat. But alignment is also about how we are living, choosing, moving, and showing up in our own lives.
In this first episode of Season 5 of Embracing Wisdom with Stacie, we explore alignment as a practice of paying attention. What feels right? What feels off? Where are we forcing, pushing, or moving away from what we know to be true?
Sometimes coming back into alignment doesn't require a complete life overhaul. Sometimes it simply means making one small adjustment.
This season, I'm exploring what it means to live more intentionally, mindfully, and authentically — and we're beginning with alignment.
Because when we are rooted in a strong foundation, we have something to come back to.
Join me for this season of Embracing Wisdom as I continue to share what I'm not just teaching, but actively living.

What if the life you're creating begins with the thoughts you're thinking?
For the final episode of this season, we're talking about mindset—and why I believe wellness begins long before we ever talk about food, exercise or the number on a scale.
Thoughts become beliefs.
Beliefs influence our actions.
Our actions shape our reality.
I've lived this transformation personally. I share how I moved from a very toxic, angry and reactive version of myself toward the healthier, more grounded woman I am today—and how changing my mindset became the foundation for so much of that transformation.
This episode is a reminder that wellness isn't simply about how our bodies look or what we eat.
It's about how we think.
How we live.
How we relate to ourselves and others.
What we believe is possible.
And the choices we make every day.
If you've been thinking that you need to change your life, perhaps the place to begin isn't with another goal.
Perhaps it's with a thought.

What if we’ve become so accustomed to looking for what’s wrong that we’ve forgotten to notice what’s right?
In this episode, I’m talking about the tendency to focus on everything that feels broken—around us, in the world, and sometimes within our own lives. The news gives us plenty of reasons to do it. Our own challenges can do the same.
I know this firsthand.
After years of hip surgeries, chronic pain, setbacks, and learning that I would face yet another major hip surgery, it would be very easy for me to look at my life through a monoscope—a narrow view focused entirely on what hurts, what isn’t working, and what needs to be fixed.
But when we stare through that narrow lens long enough, we can miss everything else.
The people who love us.
The beauty growing in the garden.
A morning cup of coffee.
A good conversation.
A body that is still carrying us.
A moment of laughter.
The simple, ordinary things that are actually quite extraordinary.
This episode is not about pretending that difficult things don't exist. They do. There is plenty in the world that needs our attention, compassion, and action.
It’s about learning that what is wrong is not the whole story.
We get to choose what we give our attention to. We get to look for joy. We get to notice what is working, what is beautiful, what is good, and what is still possible.
Because sometimes changing our perspective doesn't change the circumstances—but it changes how we experience our lives.\

What if the most valuable rewards from your work never appear on a paycheck?
In this episode, we explore a different kind of currency—the wisdom, compassion, resilience, perspective, and connection we receive through serving others. Whether you're a caregiver, healthcare professional, teacher, volunteer, leader, or simply someone striving to live with purpose, this conversation invites you to look beyond financial success and discover the richness found in meaningful work.
Through personal reflection and stories from years of working with older adults, we'll consider how every act of kindness, every shared moment, and every lesson learned becomes part of the harvest we carry within ourselves.
Perhaps true wealth isn't measured by what we earn—but by who we become.
✨ In this episode, you'll discover:
• How to redefine success beyond money
• The hidden gifts found in serving others
• Why resilience can become a form of wealth
• A simple reflection to help you uncover your own inner harvest
Take a deep breath, settle in, and join me as we explore the currency that never loses its value.
Show Notes
In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to measure success by income, productivity, and achievement. But some of life's greatest rewards can't be deposited into a bank account.
Today we're talking about the unseen exchange that happens whenever we care for another person, listen deeply, teach, encourage, or simply show up with presence.
These experiences shape us in ways that money never can.
Reflection Questions
• What have you received through your work that money couldn't buy?
• How has serving others changed you?
• What qualities have grown within you because of the people you've met?
• What kind of "currency" are you collecting each day?
Thank you for spending this time with me. If this episode resonated with you, please share it with someone who could use this reminder today.

In this episode, I'm sharing a personal update on my ongoing hip journey and something I've been reflecting on along the way.
After years of surgeries, I've noticed how often people want someone to blame. Sometimes they blame the surgeons. Sometimes they wonder if I made the wrong decisions. It comes from a place of caring, but it has made me ask a deeper question: Why are we so uncomfortable when there isn't someone to blame?
I also share the story of a gentleman I work with who experienced a stroke. He told me that after he stopped going to work, many people didn't even notice he was gone. It would have been easy for him to become bitter or resentful, yet he chose something different. He carries himself with gratitude instead of blame, and his perspective has become one of my greatest teachers.
Nature reminds us that there is no competition among flowers or trees, and sometimes things just don't grow well---and there is nothing to blame. It just is.
What if we're meant to live that way too?
Join me as we explore paying closer attention, letting go of blame, and remembering that perhaps we were never meant to live as "me versus you" or "us versus them." Maybe we're here to be partners in one another's lives, helping each other grow with a little more kindness, understanding, and compassion.

After years of chronic pain, multiple surgeries, and feeling like my nervous system was stuck in survival mode, I decided to try something new: neurofeedback.
In this episode, I'm sharing my personal experience during my first weeks of treatment, why I chose this path, and the surprising discoveries from my brain mapping session.
One of the most fascinating findings? My brain waves already showed patterns consistent with someone who has a long-term mindfulness practice. Years of yoga, meditation, and breathwork appear to have strengthened areas associated with regulation and awareness—even while living with chronic pain.
We'll talk about:
This isn't medical advice or a miracle cure story. It's simply one woman's journey exploring another tool for healing after years of adapting to pain.
If you've ever wondered whether the brain can learn new patterns, this episode is for you.

Balance isn't about doing everything equally — it's about noticing where you've drifted and finding your way back. In this episode, Stacie uses the infinity symbol (∞) as a visual framework for understanding life balance.
On one side: stress, overwhelm, trauma, and pain. One the other: happiness, healing, and coping strategies. The figure-eight flow between them reveals exactly where we tend to get stuck — and how to move through it.
She also shares the 3 questions she asks before making any major decision: • Do I want it? • Do I need it? • Does it align?
These aren't just decision-making tools — they're an invitation to return to yourself, again and again.
Topics covered: life balance, the infinity symbol framework, stress and overwhelm, decision-making, trauma and healing, coping strategies, personal alignment, and intentional living.

🎧 EPISODE DESCRIPTION
When life doesn’t unfold the way we hoped, expected, or worked so hard for, it can leave us feeling lost, discouraged, or deeply disappointed. In those moments, we often have two choices: to close down or to stay open.
In this episode, I reflect on what it means to meet unexpected change with honesty, compassion, and resilience—without bypassing grief or forcing positivity. This is a gentle conversation about choice, acceptance, and learning how to move forward when the path looks nothing like we imagined.
This conversation is rooted in mindfulness, lived experience, and yogic philosophy, especially the practice of ahimsa (non-harming). I share reflections on how we can honor disappointment and grief without letting them define us, and how choosing openness doesn’t mean liking what happened—it means refusing to abandon ourselves in the process.
This episode is for anyone navigating:
You are not broken because life changed.
You are human—and you still get to choose how you meet this moment.
