Embracing your gift: An interview with Traci Neal
Have you ever noticed a gift or talent inside of yourself but maybe been a little apprehensive to step into it? Maybe you recognize a gift, but just not sure how others will receive it if you start living it out? Feel like the thing you are most gifted to do is so far left of what everyone else you know is doing? This episode is for you!
My guest this week is author, poet and speaker Traci Neal. Although she began writing at age 5, it wasn't until she was 30 that she decided to step into a writing career. Feeling the pressure to fit into the "normal" career path, Traci tried to make teaching her thing, but it just wouldn't work out. That's when she turned back to her gift of writing and embraced what she was most gifted to do.

About Traci:
Traci Neal began writing at 5 years old. She did not pursue writing as a career until 30. After spending 10 years trying to become a certified elementary school teacher because it appeared to be a more stable career, she finally knew she had to go after her true calling of poetry. Now at 31, Traci is a Children's Book Author, Professional Christian Poet, and Certified Motivational "Youth" Speaker. Her primary goal is to inspire millions of youth and be a positive influence in the world. She wants youth to know they are not alone. Her books target readers for 3rd grade all the way to high school. Traci believes if anyone tells her she can't do something, she will just prove them wrong.
