It's women's history month! So, I am profiling black women making a difference in their careers. In this episode, I sit down with Miia Torrera, the creator of Miiato Comics.  After over a decade of practicing corporate litigation, she bravely decided to pursue her dream of writing, and thus the ISA comic book series was born. She is the first Black female children's comic book author. Her stories are fun, age-appropriate, and most importantly features characters of color.
