Maren Corbly, LPC is a licensed professional counselor and psychotherapist in Southeast Portland, OR. She supports teens, young adults, and regular adults of all genders to get “unstuck” from difficult experiences and make meaning of this thing called life. Part of Maren’s own meaning is to help others heal from traumatic experiences by greater accessing their own intuition and wisdom, and to integrate these experiences in new ways.

An adult orphan herself, Maren is passionate about supporting folks in their time of grief, loss, and bereavement; providing space for our own natural processes of expression, memorialization, and reckoning with new identities and perspectives that come with major change.

With a background in mindfulness-based transpersonal counseling, Maren uses a balance of evidence-based intuitive and spiritual modes like visual art and somatic awareness in combination with more direct and focused techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
