On the edge of the empire, the rules tighten.

As the capital rises in gold and stone before them, the party is forced to confront a truth they can’t fight or outrun: bureaucracy. Visas, arcane licenses, religious oversight. Every path into the city is watched, measured, and controlled. And not all of them belong.

With tensions rising and options thinning, an unexpected light appears on the road ahead.

A wandering people of fire and song, scarred by war but unbroken in spirit, offer warmth, music, and something far more valuable—possibility. Around their flames, beneath the weight of unseen systems and visible wounds, the party finds a rare moment of peace… and perhaps a way forward.

But in a world where every name must be written and every magic declared, how long can anyone remain unseen?
