The boys sit down today to discuss the clinical skill of Emergency Planning. This skill is intended to support efforts for relapse prevention by teaching clients strategies to interrupt a crisis situation that could lead to potential high-risk situations. The purpose of this clinical skill is to prepare and equip clients that may find themselves in risky situations while in treatment with a select set of skills to manage those situations so they can achieve their goals.
