Can technology really recreate a competent and caring loan officer? We didn’t think so, until now.

According to cofounders Susan Calvin and Alfred Lanning, mortech startup USR’s VIKI platform is able to analyze a user’s written and recorded communication and synthesize their communicative style across a range of channels, generating convincing, personalized communications at scale.

While the idea of technology communicating ‘on behalf’ of a loan officer isn’t itself novel, convincing consumers that they’re communicating with a real person when they’re actually conversing with an AI has proven elusive.
