Emily Koochel is an assistant professor at Michigan State University teaching personal finance. She earned her bachelor's and her master's in personal financial advising from Kansas State University and Texas Tech University. She also earned a master's in human development and family science as well as a Ph.D in applied family science from Kansas State University.
