I had an opportunity to take the Hawaii Forest and Trails Kohala Waterfall Adventure recently up in Hawi area at north end of the Island of Hawaii.

Eric Francke, our Interpretive Guide with Hawaii Forest & Trail who was so fun as he shared his knowledge and aloha. Eric, Sandy, Dennis, Chris, Victoria, and I all comment on the day. It was a sweet experience sharing the day together. Really sweet.

I'm a big supporter of Waikoloa Dry Forest Initiative. I live across from The Waikoloa Dry Forest area- the goats on the path - love it.

Jen Lawson, Waikoloa Dry Forest Initiative talks about their mission and how Rob Pacheco, Founder/Owner Hawaii Forest & Trail has partnered and been supportive of Waikoloa Dry Forest restoration efforts of the wiliwili tree and native plants while educating the public. Joni Metzler, Metzler Construction and Wendy Gaertner, both long time friends and fellow Ironman veterans talk about the Hawaii Cycling Club Century Ride on the Island of Hawaii April 9, 2017. It's a benefit for Hospice- Rich Bell Founder/Director has a nice day planned for us. Wendy who now lives in Austin, Texas and Joni talk about their love of recreation and Hawaii. I'm inspired by my conversation with them to get on my bike more.
