Dr. Emily Volk is a pathologist at the University of Louisville and has served as the President of The College of American Pathologists from 2021-2023. She joins the show to discuss balancing her journey as a pathologist, administrator, and CAP governor with family life. This episode features a behind the scenes look at some of the political issues facing CAP including Dobbs vs. Jackson and the VALID act. Finally, Emily shares her views on the future of pathology.
