Emma displays an intense love of music and song from a very early age. Classically trained in piano and voice, Emma also studies and plays organ, guitar, violin, and flute. She performed in various local theater and school productions throughout her earlier years.
In 2009, Emma met Saratoga Springs musician, performer, song writer, and record producer Tony Perrino. Tony immediately recognized in Emma a passion for the classic soulful music of a generation ago. He nurtured her songwriting, and also introduced Emma to the Hammond B-3 organ. Her love of that instrument was instantaneous.
Emma's music explores the great soul and blues performers of our time, from Sippie Wallace to Mavis Staples to Bonnie Raitt, and many, many more. While paying homage to these past greats, Emma's style is always uniquely her own. She continues to refine her craft by appearing frequently in local coffee houses, road houses, and night clubs.
Today, Emma continues to captivate audiences with her smokey vocals and inspiring play on keyboards. In the fall of 2010 she began her latest recording project at Silvertone Studios in Wilton, New York. This project is now available to purchase.
