Emmy Ryan writes folk music for today’s times. Based in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, Emmy’s songwriting pulls no punches in exploring colonisation, climate change, capitalism, and love in its many forms. She visited the Big Brekky Show to share some of her songs, fresh from the Top Half Folk Festival and will be Live on the Lawns Wednesday 26 June .
