We had the pleasure of interviewing Emmy Yatich, Nairobi-native and colleague of Combine family member, Jungwon Kim. They both work with the Rainforest Alliance, an international non-governmental organization based in New York City and Amsterdam, with offices throughout the world and operations in more than 60 countries. Its main work is the provision of an environmental certification on sustainable forestry and agriculture and tourism.

Emmy Yatich is Communication Associate and works with the Empowering Rural Communities with Renewable Energy (ERCHRE) project funded by IKEA foundation and implemented by Rainforest Alliance an international, non-governmental organization working at the intersection of business, agriculture, and forests to make responsible business the new normal.

Jungwon Kim leads a team of seven talented colleagues—writers, graphic designers, video producers, and social media managers—in storytelling to convey the Rainforest Alliance's mission impact.

We are the Bklyn Combine, a not-for-profit community organization. We work with schools, community organizations, and dedicated city officials to help provide mentorship, critical education, leadership, and social support programs to youth and young adults in low-income and underserved communities.
