Welcome back to a new episode where I am joined again by the amazing Dr. Lindsay Gibson, as we dive deeper into emotional immaturity. Last time she joined me, we discussed identifying emotional immaturity and this time we expand more on that and look at practical solutions and steps while in relationships with an emotionally immature person. This episode is not just for marriages, but for any type of relationship.
Dr. Gibson holds both a Masters and Doctoral Degree in clinical psychology. She has been a psychotherapist for over thirty years, working in diverse settings such as the Juvenile Court system, community mental health, psychiatric hospitals, group practice, and solo practice. She is also the author of Who You Were Meant to Be, Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents and Recovering from Emotionally Immature Parents. Since its publication in 2015, her second book has been a repeated Amazon #1 bestseller in its category and has been translated into fourteen languages.
