Emotional maturity is an effectual work of the Holy Spirit, not an effort to analyze how you want to approach or express things to people. Many of us carry hardness from our backgrounds, cultures, and survival mechanisms that make us resist the softness of grace. This teaching addresses how to submit the weight of our emotions to Christ's leadership rather than making emotions weapons or mirrors. The Holy Spirit searches the Father's heart and reveals what truly matters in each situation, allowing us to respond from our nature in Christ rather than reacting from past wounds or current feelings. This is for you if you struggle with being too hard on yourself, find it difficult to remain soft in challenging situations, or need clarity on how to handle emotions from a place of sonship rather than survival mode.
