Would like to start out this episode by explaining that there are BIG differences between emotional support animals and service animals. Both are important and have great purpose in helping their owners.
Emotional support animals offer companionship. ESA do not have to be dogs. These animals can help with loneliness, depression, anxiety, and even phobias.
Service Animals are trained to individually work or carry out tasks for an individual with a disability, such as a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental handicap.
