This is the beginning of a two part episode on the topic of Empathy. In part 1, this episode, I define empathy and briefly share a 6-part strategy for cultivating it. In part two, the next episode, I describe empathy in greater detail, talk about the danger of empathic fatigue, and introduce the compassion.
