Empathy Meets Big Pharma: Laura Last

Voices of Empathy is on a mission to make “compassion and empathy” synonymous with the patient experience. After a less than perfect exchange with a physician following a brain cancer diagnosis, Cory Brown decided being a part of the solution was the only option. After a deep dive, Cory discovered evidence-based research demonstrating that when physicians practiced with empathy, it statistically led to better patient outcomes. Voices of Empathy tells the stories of those impacted, from the perspectives of patients, doctors, caregivers, scholars, and more.
