In today’s episode, we’re looking at the word empathetic, which means the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. Romans 12:15 reminds us to “Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.” This verse calls us to show empathy, to enter into the experiences of others—whether they are celebrating or grieving. Empathy is about being present through words or silence and reflecting the heart of Jesus, who wept with those mourning Lazarus, even knowing the outcome. Let’s challenge ourselves to develop empathy today, seeing the needs of those around us and responding with compassion.
