In this episode we discuss the area of Empathy, specifically the Empathy Triad. The concept of a triad was first developed by Daniel Goleman who identified the three distinct components as: Emotional Empathy, Cognitive Empathy and Empathic Concern. Daniel Goleman expands on each area in the book titled Focus, of the Harvard Business Review collection on Emotional Intelligence.
