Welcome Podlings to our very first episode. Today we will go over sound design and some character insights of the most prominent bad guy in the Star Wars Universe, Sheev Palpatine. We know Palpatine through a few different character transitions: as a Senator for the Republic, then an Emperor of the Galactic Empire and as Darth Sidious. This episode specifically looks at a short sound clip from Episode 3: Return of the Sith. Within a matter of minutes we hear Palpatine's voice change as he is shifting his powers and his persona in front of Anakin to succeed in gaining his allegiance in the Dark Side.
