Empowered Living with Rev. Kevin Montague

Listen Later

Emunah C0-hosts Tamara and Charisse engage in a riveting discussion about "Empowered Living: Navigating life's journey with faith and resilience." Rev. Kevin Montague explains what empowered living is, what it looks like and why it is important in the life of a believer.

"We are empowered to obey Him. We obey Him in everything we do, even when it's not easy, even when it's difficult. We have to obey. I may not like it, it may be uncomfortable but because I'm empowered to live and walk the way Christ wants me to live and walk, I'm going to do it," he said, later adding that empowered meant "In His power - the power living inside of us."

He offered a few ways to feel more empowered in life:

A. We must clarify our core values and beliefs.

B. We must set meaningful goals.

C. We must use positive self-talk.

Listen to the other advice he gives in this episode.
