We end the show by talking to Nse Ufot who's currently in the country for a voting advocacy program. Nse is the CEO of the New Georgia Project in the U.S., where she's passionately bridging the gap between the ideals of American democracy and the real experiences of Black and other people of colour through galvanizing black communities to participate in electoral politics. She's an expert in civil, human, and worker rights, as well as electoral politics, community organizing, and women's issues, specifically focusing on the experiences of Black women. She joins us to speak more on her work around advocating for voting rights, and how this has changed the political landscape in Georgia, also what lessons she feels South Africa could learn from this.
Guest: Nse Ufot is an organizer, thought leader, and change agent and the CEO of New Georgia Project
