After doing  his bachelor's in computer system Engineering, Raj wanted to study AI, so he signed up for a PhD in AI because he had a focus on building more realistic video games.  At 25, Raj was one of several entrepreneurs who were profiled in Business Weekend, which really created new opportunities for him and his team at that time, getting them several clients  and new customers.

Raj strongly belive in gender equality and women’s economic empowerment. So much so that 80% of of his team at Goodman Laten are women. Raj and his team is on a mission to help increase the number of women working within the tech industry. To achieve this, they've have aligned themselves with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, in particular goal #5 – Gender Equality.

This year,  Raj will be launching a campaign to acknowledge women who have made it in different roles in the industry. In order to create role models for those to follow. They've also  joined several charities and NGOs to understand the framework and talk more about it. So they've  join organizations like the Tech Talent Charter.

The team will also be offering scholarships for women in developing countries to help them scale up their knowledge and experience.

Raj and his team at Goodman Lantern will continue to have different campaigns going on and will do whatever they can to help and campaign for women's economic empowerment.
