“Cait...Cait?” With gentle touch Jack Allison attempts to rouse his wife from slumber and for his efforts, she mumbles incoherently and turns to the other side. Sliced light from the door ajar, sets her yellow hair as dozing sunbeams getting their final winks, before they’re set to flood the room proper. Jack remains stooped over his sleeping wife, a sly smile on his face.

“Oh Caaiit” Jack says in a melodic whisper, no answer. He pokes her, again nothing. Jack chuckles quietly at this and tiptoes out of the room with gusto: a Saturday morning cartoon character stalking a window pie, his skulking communicated to the audience in light xylophonic taps. Soon Jack arrives at his office door and slips inside, shooing his dog out in the process, “Sorry Kenny, it’s me time.” Jack slowly closes the door and then sits down in the computer chair, within seconds he’s lost in his monitor: clack-clack-scroll-click, clack-clack-scroll-click, the rhythm takes him to new heights, he licks his lips, clack-clack-scroll-click, “Oh Mama!” he says at one moment, “That’s what Daddy likes to see!” clack-clack-scroll-click, “Oh-ho-ho-ho, you’ve been naughty haven’t you?” clack-clack-scroll-click, “Yeah baby you’re sucking so bad!” clack-clack-scroll-cl-- The dark rhythm shatters at once as Jack’s dirty deeds are interrupted by a female voice.

“What are you doing?” says the voice. Jack shrieks and falls out of his chair.

“C-Cait!? What are you-? I-i-it’s not what it-”

“Jack...” says Cait, “ The counselor talked about this, you promised.”

Jack gets to his feet, palms out in a gesture of peace and says “Cait you’re right...I have a problem, I fucked up. I- ”

“Ugh! This is not how I wanted to spend my morning with you Jack...” Cait sighs and before Jack can reply she says, “Just get outta here, go get your jacket, we’re taking Kenny for a walk...”

Jack bows his head and exits the room. Cait lets out a frustrated growl and flicks her eyes to the webpage left up on the monitor.

“New Star Wars: Bad” The headline reads.

Cait shakes her head in disgust, “Un-be-lievable..” she says and closes out the window.
