(EN-17) Accelerating problem-solving skills of sub-national staff: Evaluating the ITCH methodology

Listen Later

Join Professors Karen Watkins and Lorilee Sandmann to explore the new ITCH methodology to accelerate problem-solving for immunization training challenges.
This session occurred during the Teach to Reach Accelerator Conference: The world’s largest gathering of community-based immunization professionals from 120 countries preparing to introduce COVID-19 vaccine.
More than 7,000 national and sub-national immunization staff registered to participate.
Bringing together country-based immunization staff, national EPI managers, and global experts from over 40 partners, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Vaccine Alliance (Gavi), this community-based, co-designed and purely digital event explored how immunization staff will deliver new vaccines to target groups at speed.
Kate O’Brien, WHO’s director of immunization, Violaine Mitchell, Director of Health Funds and Partnerships at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Anuradha Gupta, Gavi’s Deputy CEO, are amongst the global immunization leaders who contributed.
