English Edition: making software, digital data and other artefacts count in research evaluations has always been a challenge. But there are plenty of people and initiatives like the https://hidden-ref.org in the UK who want to change research culture. And I talked to three people who are working in this field to find out what the challenges are and what they do to make software and digital technologies count (more): Simon Hettrick (Uni Southampton), Jack Atkinson (Uni Cambridge) and Will Swansborough-Aston (Uni Exeter).
