This Sunday, we continued our Encounter series and looked at the story of Hagar in Genesis 16. Our Youth Director, Tyler Wilhelm, preached on how The Angel of the Lord heard Hagar in her distress. We serve a God who hears and it is a hearing that leads to action. The Lord saw Hagar's suffering, spoke words of comfort and promise, and provided direction for her next steps.
