Christ first endured the cross and wore the thorns and then he received the glory and wore the crown. We must not skip the Broccoli for the crème Brûlée. We need to keep God’s menu order for redemption straight and not drive into the ditch of an over realized eschatology. God’s order of redemption requires we follow the order he established. This means we will suffer in this life as Christians and then we will come to live with him forever in the new heavens and new earth. If we inverse this order we can run into significant problems.
