·      Barnabas was a giver.

·      Barnabas saw potential in people.

·      He was a good cheerleader.

·      He was willing to take a back seat.

hypocrites                    Acts 5:1-14

Hypocrisy can be seen through moral failure, systemic corruption, and opportunism.  

Hypocrisy is so prevalent, we expect it. 

lessons for us

Not every action of the church has been or is hypocritical.  

Spiritual failure will always be a part of the church, and no one is above it.

We should have standards for leadership.

God knows the hearts of men and will judge hypocrisy.

Our hope has never been in the worthiness of men; 

our hope is the in work of Christ.
